This bow fronted ottoman came to us in quite a state (see the before photos). It has been completely restored, the teak veneer cleaned, nourished and wax on the sides and front with the back and feet painted in Frenchic Hornblower to compliment the upholstered top. 
 
The top has been reupholstered using the original stuffing before being finished in 'Extinct' velvet fabric from the Emma J Shipley/Clarke & Clarke collaboration and braid from VV Rouleaux. Visible, traditional tacks have been used to compliment the fabric and in keeping with the original piece. 
 
There are two little chips to the veneer at the bottom of the piece, but these are comensurate with the age of the item.
