The Mission:  To design and create hand-crafted pieces for homes defined by individuality.

The Method: Every piece is designed and hand-crafted in our Glasgow studio using techniques refined over more than 150 years.

From sculptural lampshades to reclaimed wooden homewares and hand-painted signage, traditional construction and time-honoured skills guide each stage of the process.

The People: Founded and led by partners Jo Speirs & Sean Mansell, 53 Interiors brings together years of experience in soft furnishings, traditional constuction and considered design. is built on traditional craftmanship, modern design and sustainable practice.
