I’m really excited to officially launch our redesigned 53 Interiors website today!

Over the last eighteen months, I’ve spent more hours than I care to remember building and refining the site. It’s gone through several complete redesigns, had more pages than War & Peace, and at one point there were no fewer than eight stray videos sitting on the checkout

page for about a week (major facepalm moment). To say it’s been a learning curve would be an understatement—but today I’m (re)launching something I’m actually proud of, and something I’ve worked really hard on.

As a very small, very new Glasgow business, everything we have is invested in 53 Interiors. Any profits from sales and commissions are re-invested, so it’s fallen on me to take on the role of web designer and social media manager—alongside designing, crafting and running the day-to-day business. Although these weren't quite the roles I dreamed of, after 18 months I’ve learned to (almost) enjoy them.

So, while you’re here reading this blog, why not have a look around? The site now has less pages than a Ladybird Book, is simple and easy to navigate, and (hopefully) full of inspiration. I've discovered that simplicity it key so you'll find:

The shop is full of one-of-a-kind finds—mainly handmade lampshades, statement cushions, and occasional small-batch designs. Each piece is created with the same care and attention to detail as our bespoke commissions.
